Description of the debate:
The financial industry is the most heavily represented among participants in the Deloitte Agile Maturity Survey 2023, so many of the conclusions that come out of the survey are based on the voices of employees at banks and insurance companies. Interest in agile in this industry is a continuing trend, the reasons for which can be attributed to the benefits of greater flexibility in the way we work. Financial institutions, among all other companies in the market, are subject to a particular type of control and supervision. This has made their structures and procedures unchangeable over the years. The implementation of an agile culture has opened up new possibilities for them. While still sticking to high standards and guidelines, these companies are reorganising their reality to provide the best possible customer service.
During the panel discussion, we will discuss the following questions together with experts:
- What do companies implementing agile expect and gain?
- Does agile transformation pay off?
- What practices affect real transformation outcomes? What helps and what hinders their achievement?
- Under tight regulatory control, is it possible to be fully agile?
- Does agile generate a cult of busyness and how do you combat it?
- What are the most common transformation mistakes?
