The aim of the debate is to discuss the key risks facing the banking sector in Poland and to sketch a related map of challenges.

The debate will cover the key risks to the banking system in Poland, as identified by EKF experts:

• geopolitical risk and its consequences for the sector,
• interest rate risk in the banking book in the context of new supervisory requirements,
• challenges related to the sector’s over-liquidity

and will identify desirable courses of action to put the banking sector in a better position to support the economy.
