The aim of the debate is to discuss and possibly to update the most probable macroeconomic scenario and a map of threats and challenges to Poland’s economic development sketched on the basis of several dozen responses to the EFC macroeconomic survey submitted in May/June this year by several dozen experts cooperating with the EFC. During the discussion, updated forecasts of basic indicators for the Polish economy in the horizon up to 2023 will be presented. Due to the still high risks and uncertainties, the EFC survey and the discussion during the debate will focus primarily on identifying internal and external threats to the economic situation and the stability of the financial system, as well as on indicating desirable actions for the national economic policy for the coming quarters and years.
