We deal with populism when the government listens to the voice of the people and removes responsibility for their actions. A market economy requires the public to take responsibility for their own actions. Must these two fundamentally different approaches lead to conflict, and if so, which one is more likely to win? Members and graduates of the EFC Academy, young representatives of public debate who are students at Polish and foreign universities, will take part in an Oxford debate titled “Populism will destroy market economy”.
