Panel description
An efficient long-term savings system can answer two great challenges we face – financially stimulating the development of the Polish economy and supplementing the income of pensioners with low benefits from the public pension system. The realization of both goals can be ensured by an efficiently functioning capital market.
The Polish capital market is under increased pressure today. The determinants of global geopolitics, the global macroeconomic environment and the shape of European policy have a major impact on its long-term ability to generate rates of return. At the same time, internal barriers to development require full identification and action to remove them.
What can we do, and how, under the existing conditions, to make the best use of the resources and potentials we have? Who should be the animator of initiatives to change the existing state of affairs? How to focus the activities of all stakeholders in the system to achieve the best combined effect?
