Experienced manager, who built his almost 20-year career in the largest financial institutions in Poland, including, among others, Bank Pekao and PKO Bank Polski. He successfully reorganised the functioning of the structures of many enterprises focusing on process efficiency, cost optimisation and dynamic business development. He co-created such solutions as BLIK, IKO, the Bank Cyber Security Centre, digital identity in administration, the nationwide eRegistration system for COVID-19 vaccinations and the concept of the National Cloud. He also worked at CCC, where he was Vice President of Technology and Digitisation for the Group. He was chairman of the presidium of the Electronic Banking Council at the ZBP, of the IT Architecture Council at the Committee of the Council of Ministers for Digitisation, chairman of the IT Expert Group operating at the Ministry of Finance and a member of the IT Advisory Team at the Ministry of Health. He chaired and participated in the supervisory boards of companies such as PKO Bank Hipoteczny, National Cloud Operator, PKO BP Finat, Modivo, Pronos.
In 2003, he graduated from the Military University of Technology in Warsaw and received a master’s degree in computer science. From 2006 to 2007, he studied IT project management at the Warsaw University of Technology. He also completed postgraduate Executive Master of Business Administration studies at the Warsaw School of Management. He is the recipient of numerous industry awards and distinctions. He received, among others, the title of Ambassador of the Electronic Economy at the 10th Congress of the Electronic Economy, the title of ‘Innovator of the Banking Market 2015’ in the ranking of ‘50 largest banks in Poland’, the Prof. Remigiusz Kaszubski Award for creating a secure company in the cloud and commitment to the digitisation of social life. In 2023, together with VeloBank’s management, he received the Innovative Leader 2023 award for the bank’s exceptional transformation and implementation of solutions unique in the market, as well as the BrandWe CEO award in the 6th edition of the BrandMe CEO poll.
Adam Marciniak is also the winner of the Business Insider Awards in the Finance category and the Master of Innovation Leadership in the Masters&Robots competition.
