Jacek Świderski has served as CEO of Wirtualna Polska Holding S.A. for more than 10 years. He started his professional career during his studies. In 1999, together with Michał Brański and Krzysztof Sierota, he created the free email service go2.pl. Later he launched o2.pl, which competed with WP until 2014. For the merger transaction, together with Michal Bronski and Krzysztof Sierota, he was awarded the title of Business Leader 2014 in the 48th Forbes Ranking and Forbes Player of the Year 2015 in the New Technologies category.
Over the past decade, Wirtualna Polska has made more than a dozen acquisitions in the media and e-commerce industries, both in Poland and countries in Central and Eastern Europe. In the e-commerce industry, WP is mainly active in the areas of tourism (including wakacje.pl, Szallas Group, nocowanie.pl) and consumer finance (superauto.pl and totalmoney.pl).
Jacek Świderski is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, from which he graduated with a master’s degree in management. He also studied law at the University of Warsaw.
