Jakub is the leader of the Cloud Security Team at EY Business Advisory in Poland, which provides consulting, implementation and integration services to clients in various industries, including banking, financial services, manufacturing, etc.
He has more than 15 years of experience in the banking sector, holding various roles at PKO Bank Polski, which is the largest bank in Poland and the CEE region. For the last five years, he held the position of Director of Cyber Security Architecture and Cyber Security Services.He graduated from the University of Warsaw, earning a bachelor’s degree in physics.
Jakub’s experience ranges from the role of project manager, technical expert and architect, to director of a large team of architects and experts.
He was a member of the implementation team of PKO Bank’s Strategy 2016-2020 and 2023-2025.
He played a support role in various M&A projects at all stages – from due diligence, negotiations to integration processes (e.g. Nordea Bank Polska, Raiffeisen-Leasing Polska).

Key Experience:

During the acquisition of Nordea Bank Polska, Jakub also served as Leader of the IT security audit team at Nordea Bank Polska until the merger.
He was an expert in the Investment Committee of PKO VC.
He supported PKO Bank Polski’s Cloud Transformation program.
He successfully managed teams of various sizes (10-60 people) consisting of architects, auditors, technical experts, project managers.
Presented and communicated with a wide audience as a speaker at numerous public conferences.
Reported directly to the Board of Directors and Supervisory Boards.
He led the implementation of the cyber security service model at PKO Bank Polski.
Jakub was a member of the steering committee of the Mobile Banking Transformation Program.
He developed and led working relationships with various European companies and leading global vendors.
