Joanna Borysiewicz graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Warsaw and is an expert in Bancassurance.
She gained experience in this field by creating Bancassurance teams at Citibank (2007-2013) and at Bank Millennium, where she worked from 2013 to 2017. In September 2017, she joined Santander Bank Polska, where, as Bancassurance Leader, she leads a multidisciplinary, agile team covering business and IT competences, working closely with Joint Venture and Allianz in a strategic, long-term cooperation.
Under her leadership, the team has made significant changes to the bank’s offering and achieved an increase in unrelated insurance sales of nearly 30-50% per year. This was achieved, among other things, through the implementation of flexible and comprehensive standalone products, such as Life and Health, Property and Motor insurance offerings, also available remotely on Santander mobile and Internet.
