Born in 1972 in Gdańsk. Master’s degree in History, University of Gdańsk. Postgraduate studies in Management and Public Relations, Leon Koźmiński University, Warsaw, winner of the “Lew Koźmińskiego” graduate award, Administration category. History teacher training, French government scholarship, in Montpellier and at the University of Toulouse Le Mirail.
Since 2006, Magdalena Czarzyńska-Jachim has been associated with local government in the city of Sopot, Poland. Between 2019-2023, Sopot deputy mayor, and from 2024, Sopot city mayor.
Chairwoman of the Human Rights and Equal Treatment Committee of the Association of Polish Cities. Member of the Standing Committee for Equality at the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR).
