Responsibilities
Adam is the head of Impact Forecasting at Aon, a hundred fifty strong team of catastrophe model and software developers. Impact Forecasting model suite includes over 135 models for 12 perils and 80+ countries and through embracing collaborating with various governmental and non-governmental institutions strives to deliver the best quality models. The ELEMENTS catastrophe modelling environment houses Impact Forecasting models as well as third party models either from existing vendors or (re)insurers own models.
Experience
Adam joined Aon as a flood model developer in 2003. Adam is committed helping clients to find the right solution for their challenges and needs by making sure that the right model is made available through the right channel being it ELEMENTS, one of the Oasis based platforms or another suitable tool. His passion for making catastrophe modelling more collaborative has led to the Oasis financial engine being added to ELEMENTS to expand the list of models available to its users as well as to embrace it’s usage by the cat modelling industry.
Education
Adam holds a PhD in Physical Geography from Charles University in Prague.
Personal
Adam has 4 boys and in his free time enjoys diving with rebreathers in the Galápagos Islands, fly-fishing for trout in the chalk streams of Hampshire and his rally car collection.
