Arek is a Partner at firstminute capital, a $250m AUM London based venture capital fund. He has deep expertise in financial technology and also invests in open-source software as well as deep-tech, blockchain and gaming.
He was formerly with Index Ventures, where he was responsible for sourcing their Revolut, Culture Amp, Lithic and Dubsmash investments amongst others. There he had the chance to work with some of the Europe’s leading FinTech companies such as: Raisin, Funding Circle, Auxmoney, Property Partner or Prodigy Finance.

Prior to his work in venture capital, he was with Avenue Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund, and Barclays Capital, where he worked in fixed income trading as well as in mergers and acquisitions advisory.
