Katarzyna Starosławska is a seasoned expert in data and artificial intelligence, with over two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation. She supports organizations and public institutions in designing and implementing data-driven strategies, ensuring that AI solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with business goals, regulatory frameworks, and user needs.
She specializes in advanced analytics and the strategic use of data & AI. Her mission is to transform data into actionable insights and long-term value—through interoperability, data quality, and cross-sector collaboration.
Katarzyna advises leadership teams, government bodies, and EU institutions on building digital capabilities and applying AI ethically and effectively. She actively contributes to shaping the European and national AI landscapes, ensuring that innovation is grounded in strong data foundations and responsible design.
She currently serves as:
- Board Advisor at the SpeakLeash Foundation and the Bielik.ai open-source language model initiative,
- Expert in the Informal Expert Group on the Next Generation European Interoperability Framework (EIF) at the European Commission,
- AI Stream Lead and AI in Public Administration Expert within the AI Working Groups (GRAI) under the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs,
- Expert on Public-Private Partnerships working group at the Polish Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy,
- Working Group Member on IT and mHealth in Clinical Trials at the Polish Association for Good Clinical Practice (GCPpl),
- External Expert for EIT Health, the REINFORCING project, NCP_WIDERA.NET, and the European Commission.
She is also a frequent speaker, panelist, and moderator at conferences. Katarzyna regularly leads workshops on leveraging data and AI for innovation, growth, and competitive advantage.
