Maurits Bruggink is a seasoned Public Affairs consultant with over 30 years experience in Brussels and internationally. He established Ridens Public Affairs in 2009 to offer tailor made services and provide clients with a sense of having their own office in Brussels. Over the years, Maurits has gained knowledge and experience in a wide range of sectors and policy areas. These include the toys sector, gambling, e-commerce, alcoholic beverages, metals and minerals, postal delivery, information technology, sports and others. Maurits is a founder of Critical Raw Materials Alliance and was its Secretary General for several years, now contributing as an External Adviser. Policy areas include consumer protection, VAT, data protection, standardisation, internal market, and several others. Maurits is a Dutch national and holds a Master degree in International Trade from the University of Leiden. He has working proficiency in five languages – Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish.
