Stephen Elgie is Chief Strategist at Argo Capital, a London-based asset manager with a 25-year history investing across CEEMEA and broader emerging markets. Prior to joining Argo, Mr. Elgie managed macro and emerging markets portfolios at several leading hedge funds, including Caxton Associates, Capula Investment Management, Rubicon Fund Management, and Canosa Capital, a Brummer & Partners fund. His investment experience spans foreign exchange, interest rates, and equities. Mr. Elgie holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Bristol and also studied at the University of Mainz in Germany.
