Monika Marcinkowska – Professor of Economic Sciences, Head of the Department of Banking at the University of Łódź. She is the author of numerous publications on banking, finance, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility. She has many years of experience working in banks and in supervisory boards of financial institutions (she is currently a member of the supervisory board of ING Bank Śląski SA and the Belgian think-tank Bruegel). She was awarded the Corporate Governance Man of the Year in 2021. She is a member of the Banking Stakeholder Group, an advisory body to the European Banking Authority, where, among other things, she leads the working group on sustainable finance.
