The discussion about whether the WIBOR rate will disappear and what will replace it affects many of us directly and indirectly. The WIBOR rate is referenced by the majority of the loan portfolio in Poland, including, among others, a significant portion of mortgages to retail customers. It also has tangible consequences for both household budgets as well as corporate and bank balance sheets. As an introduction, we will present solutions from other countries and give different perspectives on this issue. With our guests, we will consider whether there is a preferred solution and what features it has, and what the consequences of the chosen alternatives might be.
