Daniel Holz joined Google Cloud in October 2020 as VP responsible for the Northern Europe region in the field of continuous development of solutions and services aimed at customers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Central Europe.
Previously, he spent 12 years in SAP, where he was the Managing Director of SAP Germany in recent years. Previously, he held several senior management positions in Europe and emerging markets at SAP, where he was Vice President of Discrete Manufacturing and Automotive, Managing Director of SAP Turkey, Operations Director EMEA South and Vice Regional President of SAP Russia. Previously, he worked at Siemens Nixdorf, Oracle and IBM.
In his over 25 years of experience in software solutions, he has also gained deep knowledge of strategic sales, organizational transformation and enterprise software architectures.
Daniel holds a PhD from the University of Economics and Business in Vienna, holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, and completed a custom program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management in Boston.
Daniel lives with his wife, children and dog in Frankfurt. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and reading. He is an avid runner and enjoys skiing.
