Jakub Papierski has been involved in the capital market in Poland for 25 years. He was vice-president of PKO BP supervising the investment and corporate banking division for almost 12 years until October 2021. During this period, for seven years, he was a member of the supervisory board of the Marguerite fund, which manages €700 million in assets dedicated to infrastructure investments. Prior to joining the board of PKO BP, the manager was associated with Bank Pekao SA from 2001 to 2009, first as the bank’s chief financial officer and then as president of CDM Pekao SA, the country’s largest brokerage house during that period. The manager is a recognized specialist in capital markets, having supported a number of Poland’s largest blue-chip companies on their way to the stock market, and having been involved in numerous private market capital raising transactions and numerous successful operational and financing restructurings.
A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, majoring in banking and finance, he is a CFA certificate holder.
In recognition of his role in the capital market, Jakub Papierski was awarded the Leslaw A. Paga Prize in 2021.
