Joanna Erdman has been with ING since 1996, when she started working in the corporate part of the Warsaw-based ING Bank N.V. branch. Before that, between 1995 and 1996, she worked in the Marketing Department of Bank Pekao SA. From 2001 to 2007, she served as Director of the Strategic Client Center in the Corporate Banking Division of ING Bank Slaski. In 2007, she took the position of Director of the Strategic Clients Department, from which she was promoted in 2010 to the position of Bank Director supervising the entire Strategic Clients Division. Since 2013, she has served on the Board of Directors of ING Bank Slaski. For the first years, until 2020, she held the position of Vice President of the Board supervising the Wholesale Banking Division. She then became associated with the Risk Division. In May 2021, the Supervisory Board, with the approval of the Financial Supervision Commission, appointed Joanna Erdman as CRO.
Joanna Erdman is a graduate of the London Business School and the Warsaw School of Economics, majoring in Finance and Statistics. Over the years, she has been involved in the ING Children’s Foundation – first as a member of the Foundation’s Council, and in 2019 – 2021 as its chairwoman. She is a patron of the ING Volunteer Program. Since 2018, she has been overseeing topics related to the area of sustainability and ESG at ING Bank Slaski. Joanna Erdman was a Board Member of the Responsible Business Forum. She currently serves as Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the Credit Information Bureau.
