A professional IT & Operations manager with 28 years of experience (almost 18 years’ experience in banking sector) of managing reorganization & optimization of the teams, projects, budget & contracts to ensure smooth & efficient business – IT alignment and operational efficiency.
Mariusz Kaczmarek started his career as an IT Systems Manager and IT Customer Service Systems Analyst with Procter & Gamble in Germany in 1995. Since 2000, he joined the banking sector: first as CIO in Raiffeisen Bank Polska S.A. in Warsaw, then gradually progressing and gaining experience with such banks as Deutsche Bank PBC S.A., Kredyt Bank S.A., and EUROBANK S.A. (Société Generale Group).
Since 2019 Mariusz Kaczmarek has joined JSC Commercial Bank “PrivatBank” – the largest retail state-owned bank in Ukraine – as Vice Chairman of the Management Board & Chief Operating Officer. His scope of responsibilities includes IT, Contact Centers, Back-office operations, Soft Collection, Facility Management, Procurement, Securities, Quality, IT Security with the Opex/Capex over 200 mln USD responsibility. Chairman of Technology, Procurement Committees.
Mr. Kaczmarek’s extensive international experience is particularly important to develop and supervise projects aimed at centralization & simplification of all banking operations and tender procedures, Contact Centers structures optimization, automation of the services, Information Technology strategy development followed by Target Operating Model Implementation with focus on stability of IT infrastructure; cyber security strategy formulation. Among his latest achievements – leading the Team of 600 experts in the Bank’s project of all IT systems migration into the cloud within 45 days only.
